I’m a Data Science and Public Policy graduate student at the Hertie School and a Writer covering tech, AI & social issues.
I am also a Public Sector Consultant at Capgemini, a Data Science & AI Ethics Intern with LAVRIO.solutions, and a Research Assistant for the GAIEIA Project, a collaborative effort between Stanford and California Polytechnic focused on responsible digital transformation.
Before now, I worked at Toyota, Thinkful, Wells Fargo, Cedar Valley College, the City of Denton, and graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Managing social impact programs inspires my current work in data science.
After serving in marginalized communities, I studied sustainable development at the University of Texas at Dallas and the Danish Institute of Study - including grant-funded research focused on data-driven solutions for local homelessness.
These experiences and the subsequent four years spent managing sustainability programs at a high-level in public, private, and higher education organizations showed me the power of data to innovate, inform, and, most importantly, hold groups accountable for their impact on communities.
Since then, I’ve spent more than five years as a data analyst in the private sector, including time as a technical mentor for a remote data analytics bootcamp, Thinkful. My current studies in Data Science for Public Policy are rooted in a desire to deepen both my technical knowledge and policy practice. I’m especially interested in creating inclusivity in our digitalized world.
I am comfortable managing large datasets, engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders, and continuing to learn and connect my past experiences for data-driven impact.
